What’s Happening at Williams 9-17-23
Please use the designated drop off lots when picking up and dropping off your children. If your youngest child is in GSRP then pick all your kids up in the back lot. If your youngest child is in K-Prep or Kindergarten, then pick all your kids up front. If your youngest child is in 1st, 2nd, or 5th grade, pick up all your kids in the side West Parking lot. Thanks!
A big thank you to parents using the Grades 3, 4, GSRP drop-off lot for their patience as we have welcomed our GSRP students to school! It can take a little longer to get them safely into their car seats before their vehicle moves and we truly appreciate everyone wanting to keep all of our students safe.
Spirit Week will be this week September 18th-September 22nd. On Friday the 22nd we will have High School Athletes meeting and greeting students on the way into school from 7:40-7:55. The themes are as follows:
Monday: Pajama Day
Tuesday: Jersey Day
Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday/Mismatch
Thursday: Careers Day
Friday: Orange and Black Day
This Monday, you will receive our school’s “Technology Agreement.” It will come home in your child’s folder. I know it is a long form, but please look it over and sign and return it so we know if we can post your child’s pictures on Facebook and our school website for positive experiences like, Student of the Month, PBIS Acknowledgements, and other awards. I love to share the good!
Volunteer Protocol: Throughout the year there will be opportunities for parents to volunteer in the classroom, at a party, or on a field trip as a chaperone. Everyone who is interested in this is welcome but will have to fill out a form located in our office or in the link below and have a background check before doing so. Once the form is turned back into the office you will only receive a call if you are denied. This has to be done each year in order to volunteer in the building.
