What’s Happening at Williams 9-24-23

  • On Friday, last week our school had a Homecoming Pep Assembly to show our school PRIDE!  We want to thank Mrs. Bonsteel the Athletic Director, the Cheerleader coaches and the High School Cheerleaders & Middle School Club Cheerleaders for putting it on!  Our students loved it!   We also had our High School athletes greeting our kids on the way into school.

  • Reminder that the school will be closed tomorrow, Monday, September 25th for Fair Day.

  • Planning ahead: Picture day is coming up next week on Tuesday, October 3rd.  Picture forms have all been sent home except 5th grade.  Theirs will come home on Tuesday or Wednesday.

  • Great academic news to share regarding the MSTEP test that our students took in the spring: Our 3-5th grade students scored higher than the county schools and the state in 7 out of the 8 test sections taken! We are super proud of our students and staff for this accomplishment!  We have done this for two years in a row!

  • This Friday is our first Dollar Day.  It is “College Day.”  Students and staff will wear shirts, hats, shorts, and pants from a college of their choice.  Students donate a dollar and that will go towards our new playground.  At the end of the day we will tally up which college was most represented and announce it at the end of the day.
