What’s Happening at Williams: Week of September 16th, 2024

  • This Monday you will receive a t-shirt fundraiser form.  This is a chance for your family to get some spirit wear.  These are due by October 11th.

  • A big thank you to parents using the Grades 3, 4, GSRP drop-off lot for their patience as we have welcomed our GSRP students to school! It can take a little longer to get them safely into their car seats before their vehicle moves and we truly appreciate everyone wanting to keep all of our students safe.

  • Planning ahead, Spirit Week will be the week of September 30th-October 4th.

Monday:  Pajama Day

Tuesday:  Dress your Best!  It’s school picture day!

Wednesday:  Wacky Wednesday/Mismatch

Thursday:  Careers Day

Friday:  Orange and Black Day

  • Great academic news to share regarding the MSTEP test that our students took in the spring: Our 3-5th grade students scored higher than the county schools and the state in 7 out of the 8 test sections taken! We are super proud of our students and staff for this accomplishment!  We have done this for three years in a row!

  • Just a reminder about our attendance policy.  We are required to report absences to the state.  Please remember that a parent can excuse 5 absences a year without taking a child to the doctor and getting a note as long as they call the office or email.  After those 5 are used then only a doctor's note will excuse an absence.  School starts at 8:00.  After 8:10 is a ½ day absence.  We don’t want to see anyone have truancy problems, so if you have questions call us.  Have an awesome weekend!
