What’s Happening at Williams: Week of October 7th
Last Friday our High School Cheerleaders and Football players came down to the elementary to greet students in the bus area and drop off areas in the morning. Spirit Week was fun! We thank Mr. Turner our Athletic Director, Mrs. Griffiths the High School Principal, and the coaches and players for doing this for us. The students loved it!
This Tuesday we have a “Buddies Not Bullies” assembly. Alan Kazam, a magician, will be doing a magic show while talking to the students about being a buddy and not a bully. We continue to teach our students in various ways that it is important to be kind to others.
This Tuesday, October 8th at 6:00pm is the next PTA meeting in our school library. We encourage you to come hang out with us
We had to reschedule our Fire Safety day, and that will take place this Friday now. We really appreciate our local fire department for coming in and showing the kids how to be safe at home and school.
The Fall PopCorn Fundraiser will be delivered Monday afternoon and will be available for pickup after school on Monday from 3:15-6:00 pm. Please let the front drop off clear out before you come into it to park and get your items. You will enter through the outside gym door up front. The items will be on the stage in the gym. A volunteer will help you.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be October 16th & October 17th. Classroom teachers will be sending home your child’s time. Be looking for that.
