What’s Happening at Williams: Week of October 13th, 2025
Parent/Teacher Conferences are this week on Wednesday and Thursday. If you have not received your day and time from the teacher, please reach out to them to schedule that.
On another note our Fall Book Fair will be going on this week. Your child will bring home a wish list on Monday or Tuesday of a few books they liked while visiting the Book Fair. Then on Wednesday and Thursday night during conferences you will be able to purchase books with your child. This year students will not be able to purchase at school on Wednesday and Thursday during the school day. Please plan accordingly!
This Friday is a ½ day, AM only! Dismissal is at 11:30am.
The weather in Michigan can be unpredictable and this means varying temperatures. Please be sure to send your child to school dressed appropriately to be outside for approximately 30 minutes. Please let us know if you need assistance providing appropriate outerwear for your child. Our school rule is that if it is 50 degrees or lower, they must have a coat.
The cold and flu season is here. Please make sure you call Mrs. Nash at the office if your child is going to be out sick or going to the doctor. We cannot excuse absences that are not called in within 24 hours. If you take your child to any kind of doctor, always get a note so we can excuse it. School starts at 8:00, so please make sure your child is dropped off by 7:55 at the latest. Thanks!
This last Friday was Fire Safety Day! We had our local Fire Department here! Students got to come outside and see what tools the fire fighters use and how to be safe here and at home. Ask them about it!
Today this Sunday from 11am-9pm Cottage Inn is giving our PTA 15% off all their sales. Please go get lunch or dinner and help our school out. Thanks!
