This Wednesday, September 16th will be our first Late Start Wednesday. Please remember that the doors will not open to students until 9:40 on these days. The Drop off window is from 9:40-9:55 and school starts at 10:00am.
Save the date! Our first Title Family Literacy Night will be next Thursday, September 24th from 5-7pm. We will have two famous authors here, Sandra Markle and Maria Diamante. One will be in the gym and one will be in the cafeteria. We thank our wonderful PTA for helping fund this night so our students can have a nice evening. We will have chances for kids to win fun prizes with door tickets and Pizza & Water for parents and students. We hope to see you there!

Just a reminder about our county attendance policy. We are required to report absences to the state. Please remember that a parent can excuse 5 absences a year without taking a child to the doctor and getting a note as long as they call the office or email the office. Letting the teacher know does not count. After those 5 are used then only a doctor's note will excuse an absence. School starts at 8:00. After 8:10 is a ½ day absence. We don’t want to see anyone have truancy problems, so if you have questions call us. Have an awesome weekend!
