Weekly Update for 9/20/2021
We will welcome our Preschool GSRP students to our building this week! The parents of these little Comets will be joining the back 3, 4, GSRP drop off and pick up area. We know this will make things a little more busy in this area, but we are happy to have these amazing kiddos. Please be extra safe when pulling in and exiting starting this week. You should also expect it to take longer as these students need to be taken out of/put into their carseat.
Please note that the back drop off area will now have buses exiting this area as well as parent cars starting this week. The buses will pull out in two phases starting around 7:45 and then another around 7:47. An adult will help direct this traffic when needed. If you would like to avoid the busses come before 7:45 or after 7:50. Thanks for your patience!
Your children are doing so many wonderful things in their classrooms this year. We are posting these things on our school website and our District FaceBook page. Check them out!
We want to remind everyone that the lunch menu is subject to change due to food availability. Please check the website. See the Dining section to see if any changes have been made to the published menu.
If your child is dropped off in the morning after 7:55, please use the front of the building. If they arrive after 8:00, an adult must sign them in.
If you arrive to pick-up your child in the afternoon and it is past 3:05, please go to the front of the building as they will be waiting for you by the office.
Mrs. Tina Varney has been our school nurse for over 21 years. She has been offered a new position at Dr. Toner/Gutowski’s office and has decided to take it. We will miss her dearly and are very thankful for all her years of service. We are currently looking for a replacement and will keep you posted. In the meantime our office staff will be filling in.
If your child is going to be absent, please call Mrs. VanKampen at 826-7112 or 849-9175 and hit option 3 to report it. You can also report the absence by emailing her cvankampen@jonesvilleschools.org Mrs. VanKampen is handling all attendance related items. Please do not contact Tina Varney. Thanks!
Our school-wide fundraiser will be ending tomorrow. Please be sure to turn in any orders that you may have.
