Week of November 15th

  • This week starts a new trimester.  It’s hard to believe that ⅓ of our school year is already over.  The change in the weather, however, is a bitter reminder that winter is almost here.  Please have your child(ren) come with a coat, hat, and gloves daily.  If you need help with any of these items, please let us know.

  • Speaking of winter weather, if your family lives in a different school district and school in that district is cancelled, please know that we do not provide bussing into that district on those days.

  • We had our first in-person PTA meeting in the library last week and it was nice to see those who were able to attend.  We discussed many things, but a highlight coming up is Santa's Workshop and the kids love this!  Flyers will be coming your way soon with information.  All items will be $1.  The next PTA meeting will be on Tuesday, December 14th at 6:00 pm in the library.

  • This Wednesday our students will be treated to a Glow Show performed by our high school band. Please be sure to ask them about it Wednesday after school.

  • Friday will be our next Dollar Day. This month’s theme is Camouflage vs. Tie Dye. Students can wear anything camouflage or anything tie-dyed. The dollar collected to participate will be put into our Student Activity Fund to help support student activities.

  • Planning ahead to next week: On Wednesday, November 24th, we will have a half-day of school to begin the Thanksgiving holiday. We hope that everyone is able to enjoy this time with their friends and family.

Once again, we look forward to a wonderful week here at Williams Elementary!
