Week of February 28th
It is hard to believe that we will begin the month of March on Tuesday! We will be celebrating March is Reading Month and have a calendar of activities posted on our Facebook page and website. Your child’s teacher may have shared this with you as well.
Wednesday, March 2nd is Dr. Seuss’s birthday and Read Across America Day. As a school, we will be reading from 8:05-8:25 am. Please make sure that your child has a book to read.
We would like to remind you that Friday is the end of the 2nd trimester and will be a ½ day of school for students. We will be dismissed at 11:30 am.
Speaking of Friday, we will be holding a school-wide “Read and Feed”. This means that students can wear comfy clothes and can bring in snacks as we will be spending time reading.
We will be sending home Parent Input letters with your child(ren) this week. On the back is a form for you to fill out if you would like to give us some information about your child to help us when we consider classroom placements for next year.
