What's Happening at Williams Weekly Update

Week of September 19th, 2022

  • Volunteer Protocol:  Throughout the year there will be opportunities for parents to volunteer in the classroom, at a party, or on a field trip as a chaperone.  Everyone who is interested in this is welcome but will have to fill out a form located in our office or in the link below and have a background check before doing so.  Once the form is turned back into the office you will receive a phone call letting you know whether you are approved to volunteer within 24 hours.  We also need a copy of your Driver's license. This has to be done each year in order to volunteer in the building.  It is another level of security we are implementing in our building.  Here is the form.  IChat Form  You can email or scan these to sbaker@jonesvilleschools.org  or drop them off at the office.

  • This week we will have a special BMX Anti Bullying Assembly.  The USA BMX Champion will be here with us promoting positive behavior and talking about why one should never bully another person.

  • A big thank you to parents using the Grades 3 and 4 drop-off lot for their patience as we have welcomed our GSRP students to school! It can take a little longer to get them safely into their car seats before their vehicle moves and we truly appreciate everyone wanting to keep all of our students safe.

  • We are in need of boys sweatpants, all sizes, and girl’s leggings (all sizes) for our student clothes closet. If you have anything you are able to donate, it would be greatly appreciated!

  • Cottage Inn Pizza will be offering our school 15% of total sales from 3-9 pm this Tuesday, September 20th. They will also be donating 15% of sales from mini-golf during that time.  If you are able to purchase anything from them that night, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, September 26th as this is Fair Day.
