What's Happening at Williams Weekly Update

What’s Happening at Williams Week of 10.31.2022

  • We truly enjoyed seeing our students dressed up in their Halloween costumes on Friday!  Good times were had!

  • Our Annual Title I Parent Night along with a Language Arts/Social Studies Family Night will be held on Thursday, November 10th from 5:00-7:00 pm. We will kick it off with a short presentation from 5:00-5:10 in the cafeteria.  Please sign in at the white table outside the cafeteria before coming in.  These signatures help our school to receive more title money so we can do more for our students.  Part of this evening will include a “Book Swap”. That evening, students will be able to select books that they have not read to take home. To make this activity happen, we are in need of gently used books. You may begin to send them in so that we can have the tables organized and ready to go. (If you would prefer, you can simply bring in books that night.)  During this night you will get to see projects displayed from all grade levels, there will be fun stations for students, and pizza to eat.

  • The PTA meeting for the month of November will be this Tuesday, November 1st at 6:00 pm in the library here at Williams. We look forward to seeing you there.

  • Parents who use the GSRP, 3/4 lot for drop off and pick-up: First off, thank you for your patience as we unload and load our very youngest students. We know that getting unbuckled and buckled in properly takes some time. Please wait until it is your turn to move up in line. We do ask that you please remember to pull up as far as possible along the sidewalk when dropping off or picking-up your child(ren). This allows us to get more people into the drive and off of the road. We also prefer that your child(ren) exit the vehicle on the passenger side.Thank you!

  • Due to accidents throughout the day, our clothing closet is being quickly depleted. If  you have any clothes that your child(ren) have outgrown that you would like to donate, we would be grateful. Our biggest need at this time is all sizes of stretchy-type pants for both boys and girls.

  • Finally, this Friday our students get to travel to the high school to see the High School Band perform a Glow Show! This is an annual event that the students love!
