Today some of the Jonesville High School Robotics team members, consisting of Brookie Lewis, Chad Wickham II, and Bret Cole, traveled to Williams elementary school to do a presentation for the second grade students. The second grade students learned how the robots were programmed and the high schoolers showed the students how they worked. The second graders got to choose the name for the robot that the team will be using during competition. Each second grade classroom came up with names and then voted on them. The final four names were Turbo (by Jonah Tyler), Comets (by Cambree Laroque), Natalie (by Layla Kerr), and Comet Crusher (by Tucker Hubbard). After the presentation today, the students voted on the final name and Tucker’s Comet Crusher was the winning name! Congratulations to Tucker!
