Thank you JCS teachers for all you do for our Comets!
Nathan Winn was selected as the Michigan 5th district winner of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition. This is a great opportunity to showcase student art at a national level.
Nathan Winn, has been selected as Congressman Walberg’s first-place winner in the 2024 Art Competition. As a result, his art will be on display, for one year, in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol building.
Nathan also has won the opportunity to fly to DC to participate in the reception for winners from across the country. His piece, Messenger to Dragon Palace, features a turtle viewed from the top, casting a shadow to the bottom right of the page. The piece is pen and ink on paper.

We would like to thank the women of the Jonesville United Methodist Church for hosting the senior tea. Our seniors and their guests had a lovely time!
The JHS Student Council sponsored a merit trip on Friday, May 3rd. Students who qualified were able to choose to go bowling, go to a movie or to spend the afternoon shooting hoops and/or playing pickleball.
Fun was had by all. We would like to thank our student council for providing such a fun afternoon. We would especially like to thank L & J Lanes, Cottage Inn, Hillsdale Premiere Theater and The Well AC for accommodating us.

Congratulations to our 2024 Cascades Conference Senior Scholars!
These individuals worked hard to qualify for this honor; they had to have received two varsity letters and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or higher throughout their high school career.
